Birthday

Today is my birthday.  This past weekend we had several other birthdays to prepare for.  While the boys were napping, I went shopping in the neighborhood for a book suitable for a 5-year old and found this one.  Have you heard of Mouk?  The illustrations are adorable.  My favorites are the Parisian cafe scene and the one of a 2-story restaurant somewhere in China.

I also picked up some cupcakes from a local bakery for a belated birthday celebration for a friend.  And for fun I made strawberry cupcakes as well.

Tonight C is taking me out to dinner to a place I've wanted to try for a long time now.  More weekend celebrations to come!
