Play Date Night

Saturday afternoon the boys had a play date with a friend and we had one with her parents.  The kids play well together and it frees the adults up for some catching up, sort of.  Dinnertime rolled around so we all headed out in search of food.  It's surprisingly difficult to find a family-friendly restaurant that's large enough and able to take us on a Saturday night here in Dupont.

While we strolled, the kids were holding hands running wild up the sidewalks laughing and singing.  For a moment, I saw the future - my boys out with friends in the big city without me.
