Last Saturday was one that I looked forward to for weeks. DD had been invited to a birthday party so C and I each took one of the boys for the rest of the day. This involved getting a Zipcar, moving car seats and separate lunches after Tae Kwon Do. I haven't had many opportunities to spend alone with BB. We had regular Friday dates last year before DD started school but those ended last September.
BB is such a joy to spend time with and this becomes even more apparent when you are one-on-one with him. He asks probing questions, has lots of opinions, listens when you mean it, and will ask you to take photos of him. We sat together having a wonderful conversation over brunch. It was a perfect date.
