The Offbeat
DD was still feeling off. Despite running along the nature trail, playing tag with BB at the playground, and jumping all around in Tae Kwon Do class, his little body is sick. He has no appetite. Our ritual Friday night dinner was brick oven pizza. DD took two bites and lost interest. BB almost ate the entire rest of the pie himself. Saturday morning's Starbucks chocolate doughnut was never finished. And lunch at an Italian restaurant (which BB declared "beautiful" on the inside) after class was another failure.
Speaking of food, the Lego sculpture in the first picture is something BB brought to me this morning. He based it on the hamburger puzzle. I asked him where the green lettuce was. He said, "oh, I don't want to eat that." Legos are his tool to create stylized versions of things and on any given day he's got several sculptures from simple to complex lined up on the bookshelf for us to view. It's really quite fun to come home to see what new creations he's made during the day.
