{Friday} Family Dinner: Italian

We're doing well with my Friday Nights Out idea I instituted recently.  Tonight we walked to a local Italian restaurant, got a tour of the kitchen and then sat down to a big meal.  Can you guess what was a big hit with the boys?  Calamari.  Especially the tentacles.

My goal is to come up with a long-ish list of restaurants that serve good food and are kid-friendly.  We're lucky to be right in Dupont Circle with many choices we can just walk to but I also like to explore the suburbs for good ethnic restaurants.  Going out Friday nights has been a mood booster in the dead of winter.  Not only do we enjoy tasty meals and introduce the boys to new foods, I come home to a clean kitchen.
