In Our Own BackyardWhy the Suburbs are Calling Part I

Our lifestyle is out of the Busy Town book - we walk to coffee, groceries, the hardware store, restaurants, the bookstore, and the farmer's market.  I don't touch the car until the weekend.  But one thing I would love to give to the boys is a backyard.  Something well-sized and fenced-in where we could plant a small garden and put in a firepit for toasting marshmallows.  A yard where I can see them while in the kitchen or in the family room or on the deck drinking coffee.

This is the first reason why we are considering a move to the suburbs.
