A Boardgame at Bedtime

Sometimes at bedtime, we all play a board game together. We have several, some old and some that arrived this week.  I know you've heard me lament the fact that my babies are growing up, but I admit that it's not without its upside.  Being able to play games, draw and read, go to museums, and watch plays - things we did together this winter - is so fun.

Usually by this point in the year, I'm sick of winter.  The light, the short days, the cold winds, I'm so over you.  But winter also has given us more cozy indoor family time in the evening than we normally would have and for that I am grateful.  I'm actually looking forward to at least another month of the cold season.
