The Last Few Days Before Vacation

My week of half days at the office wasn't as fantastic as I had envisioned.  Half days just aren't enough time to go on the outings I had planned.  For the most part, we stayed in the city and played here and there.

An intense game of shoeless soccer totally hit the spot for the boys.  I've got a huge list in my head of what we need to get done before leaving for the beach.  Although it's been a fantastic summer, I really need this vacation and some continuous uninterrupted time with my boys.  With C's father still in the hospital and Hurricane Irene headed our way, we're not without worry but we are going and we cannot wait.  See you at the shore!
