Birthday Weekend

I had a nice, low-key weekend to celebrate my birthday.  On Friday, me and a good friend went to afternoon tea at the Mandarin Oriental Empress Lounge.  Decadent and delicious.  If it wasn't for work and our parking meter, we would have stayed all afternoon.  Then on Saturday, C and I had birthday date night at the new ramen restaurant Daikaya. The ramen "scene" in D.C. is hitting it's stride finally.

We're all waiting and hoping for some measurable snow to come to town on Wednesday.  Right now chances are looking pretty good for a final white Winter blanket!
