A Little House Christmas

We went to see the Adventure Theatre's production of A Little House Christmas, based on the stories by Laura Ingalls Wilder.  I was looking foward to introducing the boys to pioneer living, a return to a simpler time.  Both BB and DD really responded to the set.  DD loved the old fashioned stove, which reminded him so much of his beloved stove at the Heritage Farm Museum.  BB loved everything especially the sleeping loft above the kitchen.  Taking pictures of the set is prohibited so I have no photos to share but can tell you that we enjoyed the show immensely and highly recommend seeing it this holiday season.  We are far from living the pioneer life but this year I don't mind hewing a bit closer to a simpler Little House Christmas.
