Measuring Growth

Although it's a short week (Monday was a holiday), the week is dragging.  The boys have their belt tests at different, inconvenient, times this week.  C has a slew of meetings after hours, school events are taking our time, and my MIL has arrived for a two week stay.  All of this while our schedule is picking up with holiday plans.  While running a last minute errand this morning before work, I couldn't resist buying this amaryllis plant.  I love forcing bulbs this time of year.  Marking their daily growth gives me a sense of progress that I can see, which is sometimes more than I can say for other areas of my life.
