Status Quo

The election is over and President Obama has won.  I am truly relieved for so many reasons.  My quest for balance continues but at least under the status quo and not the other side of the scale further stacked against me.  A friend said to me yesterday when I was fretting about the election - "I remember you saying to me 2 years ago that you were making homemade ornaments and creating a winter village with the boys.  And I thought to myself that's a 'balanced woman'!"  I heard that and I was like "where did she go?"
