Happy Weekend

It's the start of a long holiday weekend.  After dinner we took a walk and went to our other favorite smoothie cafe.  It was a perfect summer evening, warm and cool at the same time.  The boys sipped their smoothies and the four of us people watched.

I'll be working from home today and then taking the afternoon off.  In the morning, we're going to the boys' annual 4th of July parade at camp.  We look forward to it every year.  At lunchtime I'll pick them up (I've decided to get BB early again) and go on an outing to kickoff the holiday.

My brother (aka Uncle JJ) is coming to visit, a friend is having a barbeque, and we'll be having our own celebration of the Fourth on our roofdeck.  It's going to be a good one, folks.
