Much Needed Rain

The heatwave continues here in DC.  We did get a lovely shower at lunch time, one of those soft summer rains.  If it wasn't for DD's fever, the three of us would have donned rain boots and taken a walk to splash about.  Another time.

No one is happy that DD is sick but I am enjoying this time off with my boys.  While DD naps, BB and I draw with oil pastels and catch up on things.  Like the rain, the time was much needed as well.
