{Friday} Reading + Zoo

It was our turn to read to DD's preschool class on Friday.  DD was full of pride when he saw C and I there waiting for him.  He couldn't stop introducing us to his classmates and then he got right to work bringing chairs for us to sit on.  Instead of staying for the rest of the day, I took both boys home early.

A few conference calls and emails later, we headed to the National Zoo in the gorgeous Spring weather.  The biggest hit of the day was the turtles, especially this bunch with a mama and her two babies.  Of course we had to end the day with rainbow popsicles.  Don't they look like Maori?
