Food + Flowers

 

We went for a leisurely stroll Sunday morning to our farmer's market in search of food and flowers.  All of D.C. is in bloom suddenly and I was reminded why C and I chose Spring for our wedding.  My big purchase of the day was an armful of cut cherry blossom branches.  When we had our fill at the market, we went home, packed up the car and drove to my parents' house.  The boys surprised Grandma with some cherry blossom branches when we arrived.

In a house full of boys, it's nice to have fresh flowers around to keep things balanced.
