Easter

In the morning the boys went downstairs to find Easter baskets waiting for them.  That meant candy before and after breakfast.  The day before we dyed our eggs and BB decided he wanted a dozen blue eggs so he experimented with different dye mixes and times.

We had our own Easter egg hunt in my parents' yard.  While the boys were playing, I quickly tucked empty plastic eggs all around.  To limit the amount of candy, I decided to let them "buy" treats using their found eggs as money.  It worked out really well.  DD's big purchase was a Cookie Monster book; BB bought a bag of marshmallows; and they both went in on a bowling set.

In all of this, C and I were able to go out for a nice dinner to celebrate our anniversary.  Hope you had a happy Easter weekend.
