Halloween Proper

It was the best Halloween we've had to date and a great time for us all.  DD is old enough to walk far distances and he also knows what candy is so when they finally came to the realization that all of the neighbors were handing out real, honest to goodness candy that they could keep, they whipped themselves into a Halloween frenzy.

As you can see, BB's game time decision was to be a knight - his same costume from last year!  He just loves that costume.  At the beginning of the evening he had on his full regalia - chain mail hood and cape, chest piece, helmet, sword and shield.  By the end of the night, his sword and shield were relinquished in favor of carrying his candy-laden black cauldron.

After the boys went to bed (late), C and I divvied up the spoils between us and left the boys a few tokens from their haul.  We did this last year and they were none the wiser.  We'll see what happens tonight.
