I love to watch the boys go about their daily tasks independently. Truth be told, my parenting philosophy always has leaned towards doing things for them, even when I know that they can do it on their own. This is antithetical to Montessori principles, I know, but that is how I parent. Because of this I take great pleasure when seeing them act in the world independently of me. Just simple tasks like eating, drawing. It doesn't always have to be the big things for me.
