The Barber Shop

Before school started, C took the boys to get haircuts.  Usually I take the boys to a kids' stylist.  Not the kind in a strip mall because they suck, but another place just for kids that has an airplane and a firetruck as well as video games and dvds.  DD will watch Dora or something like that.  But C likes to take them to our neighborhood barber shop where nothing is kid-friendly save for the small basket of lollipops they hand out.  Usually BB would go and DD would run around outside and wait for his un-earned lollipop.  But C insisted that DD was old enough now.  He was right.

Over the weekend we went shopping for the boys again.  The quickly changing weather always catches me off guard.  You don't just pull out long sleeved shirts and long pants with kids.  They don't fit anything from last season.  You've got to buy new stuff.  I did get each of them a few things but I also lucked out and found 5 suits.  Yes, 5.  I've been in the mood to overhaul my work wardrobe and am slowly getting rid of EVERYTHING and replacing it all with new pieces.  It's a good feeling.
