Lakehouse, Part 1

Oh hi there!  We've been away.  The thermostat hit the 90 mark and our little family took off for the cool mountains, lakes, and ocean of coastal Maine.  We rented a house on the lake near Acadia National Park, a destination long on our list of places to take the kids.  This wasn't a trip that we planned out very well at all; it was last minute in nature (literally booked the week before we left) but it really worked out.  It was one of our best trips ever.

We spent some time in Portland having a late lunch and picking up some groceries for the week before heading to our house, about another 2 1/2 hours away.  When we arrived this is what we saw.
