Final Weeks of School
We are in the final weeks of school now and part of me can't wait for it to be over. This weekend it may as well been July. The weekend kicked off with BB's class play in the afternoon. After coming home early to relax a bit, we went to the pool for swim team practice. The rest of the weekend was spent working on BB's science project, getting haircuts, cooling down with frozen treats, stocking up our Summer reading stash, and getting fitted for new swim team uniforms.
June is always a month of transition. It signals a new routine and requires all of us to acclimate to change. Pretty soon the boys will be starting new camps and making new friends, while C and I juggle the childcare routine. It sounds so hectic, but I've finally learned that it somehow all works out in the end.
