A whole inch of it. And it wasn't the powdery stuff. But the boys could not be contained. We headed out first thing in the morning to play. What made it magical was that the night before we took the boys to the opening night of The Snowy Day. They fell asleep wishing for snow and woke up to the real thing. I'm hoping that this isn't it for the season. I'm ready for some snow days and sledding. The cold has to have a purpose.
