The Boy is 9

How is it that my first baby is turning 9 today?  Nine??!?  This is a picture of him that I carry around in my wallet.  BB is only 4 months old in this picture, barely able to lift his neck for too long but he pushed himself up and the photographer snapped this photo right then.

Never mind that BB just completed his first science project, that he swims like a fish, loves steak, draws beautifully, reads all kinds of great books, is a great friend, and all around fantastic.  This is how I see him in my mind's eye.  I think it will always be this way whether he's turning 9 or 19 or 99.
