A Magical Birthday Party For The Green Goblin

You read that right - there are more birthday parties going on over here.  This time it was BB's turn.  In the days leading up to his birthday party, BB had gone back to being the Green Goblin.  For those of you who don't know, the Green Goblin is the arch-nemesis of Spiderman.  Try finding party decorations in the theme of a villain.  Not possible.  So we settled on having green and purple decorations instead.  It worked out well and BB was very happy.  Check out the colors he's wearing.

For the last two years he's requested a magician for his party.  C found a great place that put on a 50 minute magic show to entertain our little party guests.  BB was his main helper but many of the kids had a chance to try their hand at magic, including DD.  There were flowers and handkerchiefs, doves and rabbits, a dog, and in the grand finale, the Magician had BB lay down on a table for a levitation trick.  I'll post a link to the video later; it was really incredible.

In a stroke of luck, the Magician was also a Spiderman fan and the Green Goblin his favorite villain.  After the party was over, he took the boys on a personal tour around his store and showed him all of his Green Goblin paraphernalia.   He was so happy to have met a kindred spirit that he gave BB one of his Green Goblin figurines complete with bat glider.  It couldn't have been a more magical day.
