Ornament Making

It rained all day Sunday but there was a nice break in the morning so we all headed over to the farmers' market for some food for this week.  Our haul included a dozen multi-colored eggs - browns, tans, creams, whites, greens and blues.  Oh yes they are beautiful and tasty.  C, DD and I ate half a dozen in the morning with smoked salmon.  Mmmm.

The day before I went to our craft store to pick up supplies for teachers' gifts (more on this later), homemade ornaments and to restock our art supply closet.  We spent the rest of the morning cutting out gingerbread men from brown felt and then piping them with white "icing" (aka dimensional fabric paint).  The boys did a fantastic job.  I especially love the ones BB did.  Can you tell which ones they are?  When we were all done, we put them in a cookie tray and the boys popped them into their play oven to bake.
