Screened Porch and My Big Plans

At the beginning of the season, I had big big plans and dreams for our beautiful screened porch.  You access the porch through a large pocket door and on nice days, we just leave the door open and it's gorgeous.  We had two lounge chairs and a dining table out there but I was hoping to get some proper patio furniture to make the space even more cozy.  A few months all the furniture and accessories arrived but there really hasn't been a single day since then when it was comfortable enough to spend out there.

We had plans to eat dinners out there, play games, read books, entertain.  But the sweltering heat just wouldn't allow it.  On top of that, there have been torrential downpours (like the one last night).  But all is not lost; there is late Summer and then cooler Fall to look forward to.  I still have to string up all the lights I bought.  Once we can sit out there, I'll take a few more photos so you can get a sense of the space.
