Crab Feast

Finally!  Maryland blue crabs made an appearance in my life this Summer rand I was so glad about it. My brother was visiting this weekend and had the great idea to get some live crabs that we could prepare ourselves.  We ended up with a lovely summer feast of crabs in Old Bay, red potatoes, corn on the cob, and steak!  BB declared crab meat to be sweet and tasty.  I'm hoping to have one more crab feast before the season is over. 

Summer is really winding down - have you noticed the days getting shorter?  I've printed out the boys' back to school supply list and plan to get that shopping done before heading off for our final trip before school starts.  There are a few long weekends next month that we are planning to take advantage of; trying to squeeze out of Summer as the Autumnal Equinox isn't until September 22.
