The Corning Museum of Glass

Hello!  We have returned from our trip.  As we usually do if we're not going back to the beach, we headed north in search of cooler temperatures.  Our first stop, unplanned, was the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY.  It ended up being a fantastic choice - just the right point in our road trip - and a really interesting museum for all of us.  There was even a cafeteria where we had a decent lunch!
In the main lobby, there was a large installation by Dale Chihuly that BB really liked. That was perfect because our plan was to get tickets to the Chihuly exhibition at the Royal Ontario Museum later in the week.

Just another note- if you ever visit the Corning Museum, you'll notice that the signs are all in English and Chinese.  During the glass blowing demonstration, there is a Chinese translator as well.  C and I looked it up later; the Museum is actively courting Chinese tourists.
