Karate Kids

The boys had their first karate class.  Can you tell it went great?  Despite being mixed in with the older kids, DD ended up winning a prize (the Kamikaze headband); he was the only student who popped a balloon with his kicks.  Why am I not surprised?

It's the end of a long, good week.  We're looking forward to a relaxing weekend.  On the schedule, a playdate and dinner with friends, and then pool time.  June has raced by me but I'm determined to make July last.
