An Afternoon at the Zoo and So Much More

Last Thursday, the third years in BB's Primary class had their last field trip at the National Zoo.  For work reasons, I missed every field trip before this but I couldn't let his Primary years end without participating in a field trip.  The string of hot and humid D.C. days broke and we had ourselves a beautiful afternoon.  C arranged a behind the scenes tour at the Reptile House for our class.  The kids, who have known each other since they were 2 and 3 years old, enjoyed every minute without realizing that for some, they would not being seeing each other again.
