Another Year Under Our Belts

Today is the last day of school.  In the morning, the kids helped with the groundbreaking for the new playground that will be installed over the summer.  Then BB's class had their end of year party where he and his fellow "seniors" individually read poems to the parents.  This afternoon is his bbq/pool party to celebrate the graduates.

C and I had originally planned a move to suburbia over the summer - to a less vertical house, a two-car garage, and a yard.  This would have meant a new school in the Fall.  In the end, we decided against it with our school being a major factor.  Certainly, paying two private school tuitions is a burden.  But the peace of mind we have dropping the boys off each morning and knowing that they will have a happy and productive day makes it worth it.  This is not to say we'll be staying in our house or at our school forever (our school goes to the equivalent of 6th grade).  But we're staying put for now.
