Butterflies

The boys' (especially BB's) interest in butterflies reached a crescendo recently.  And since last week was my week of spending very little time in the office, we paid a visit to the Smithsonian's Butterfly Pavilion at the National Museum of Natural History.  I had taken BB years ago before DD was born (the kid has seen everything) but he didn't remember. 

We had numerous close encounters with the butterflies, the highlight of which was when a very large butterfly landed right on DD's nose, covering his eyes and face with its beautiful wings.  DD was thrilled but I couldn't pull up the camera on my iPhone fast enough to capture it.  DD said it felt tickly, like a big butterfly kiss.
