A Favorite Kind of Day

When you're young, there really isn't weather you don't like.  A blizzard brings snow to play with, sunny skies means loads of time outdoors, crisp Fall days means plenty of colorful leaves.  And a huge rainstorm brings deep puddles to wade through.  And is the case with all situations in life, as long as you have the appropriate footwear, all is good in the world.

We were out for a couple of hours stepping in puddles, playing in a rock garden, and chasing birds.  It was so much fun that it almost made you wish for rainy nights every night.
