Something Sweet

Recently, BB has become extremely interested in a fictional character that is not a villain, Bumblebee Boy.  Bumblebee Boy is from the Ladybug Girl series of books by David Soman and Jacky Davis.  Once a side character and the only boy in the cast of characters, Bumblebee Boy is getting his very own book coming this Fall.

We found a set of bee antennae at the toy store a few weeks ago and paired it with his Batman cape.  BB (which he reminds me can stand for Bumblebee Boy) also has become extremely interested in real bees and wasps.  We watch short videos on YouTube and we're going to go to the library to check out some books.  He wants to know all about hives, the queen bee, and honey making.  Of course, his main interest is in the fact that bees have sharp stingers that sting and hurt.  Still, I'm going to count this one as something sweet.  Villains 14, Good Guys 1.
