A Nor'easter and Hurricane Joaquin

The weekend was super damp and windy.  We had a Nor'easter which drenched DC, a pause and then the under performing Hurricane Joaquin.  I say that tongue-in-cheek because I know Joaquin caused havoc elsewhere, but here in DC it wasn't much to speak of.

We spent all of Saturday indoors essentially.  It is rare for them to go with us on mundane tasks like shopping for Fall and Winter clothes at the mall and making a run to Costco.  They found their fun in it though and we made it worth their while by allowing them to go shopping for things they're interested in.

Looking ahead to this week, I'm looking forward to much drier weather and warmer temperatures and a chance for all of us to get outside.  I even have the outing planned!
