One of our best, most memorable days at Mount Desert Island was also one of our worst. We decided to spend the day exploring the ponds in Acadia - Bubble Pond and the famous Jordan's Pond. After splashing around in Bubble Pond, we hiked around the entirety of Jordan's Pond. Part of the trail is a raised narrow, wooden boardwalk, and it's so lovely. The hike is easy with some rock climbing necessary half way through.
At the end of the hike, we lost track of one another - me and DD, C and BB. There is no cell service in Acadia so we ended up circling around and around but finally found one another. A little drama at the end of a beautiful hike and it made all four of us so happy to be reunited.
