The Season of Baking

DD stayed home from school yesterday, a rarity in our house unless you have a fever and vomiting all over the place.  He had a sleepless night and woke up tired so I let him stay home while BB went off to school on his own.  

To make sure he didn't spend the entire day playing WiiU or Xbox, we looked up some recipes I've been wanting to try and made earl grey tea cookies and some chocolate chip scones.  I didn't want BB to miss out on any of the fun, so I set out some trays for each of them to ice and decorate gingerbread Christmas trees in the afternoon.
