Annmarie Sculpture Garden

Ever since we visited Storm King, I've been looking to visit another sculpture garden.  A break in the cold weather on Saturday gave us our chance to pay our first visit to the Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Arts Center.  We virtually had the entire place to ourselves.  We meandered through the 30 acre sculpture garden first which includes a lovely fairy garden (Fairy Lolly) that BB and DD really enjoyed. Annmarie is a great place to spend a sunny day.

Inside the gallery is an art lab for kids to make their own art.  They also had three artists using their main space downstairs working on art.  Upstairs there was a very attractive collection of wood sculptures.  

Annmarie is located near Solomon's Island.  It's beyond the close beaches we've taken the boys to in the past.  Had we gotten an earlier start on Saturday, it would have made for a very full but fun day to visit both.
