The other day, I got the coveted slot of parent chaperone on one of BB's field trips. As the day approached, I realized that taking the morning off was not going to be easy given how the week was going. But who cares? I promised BB, and I promised myself. Work can wait. I chaperoned that field trip, took some photos, helped the kids, sat with them at lunch, watched BB volunteer, and rode the school bus.
And I'm so glad I did. I will keep doing it every chance I get.
