Usually, the day after Christmas is not my favorite day of the year. The build up towards Christmas has come ripping through and it's over just like that. So for a few years now we've been seeing our good friends the day after Christmas for some good conversation, food, and an exchange of gifts for the kids. It's a nice way to wind down. Afterwards, we usually go to a museum before heading home. This time we stopped by the banks of the Potomac while coming home. The light was breathtaking in the afternoon. BB and DD romped around tossing stones and sticks into the water.
Until next year, when we do it all over again.
