Happy New Year!

On New Years Eve we stayed home for the entire day.  We did home things like baking, cooking, eating.  The boys played and made art.  And we took down the Christmas tree.  This is early for us but for some reason both C and I were eager to take it down.

In the early evening we headed to a New Years Eve party.  Every year the boys can stay up later and later.  We didn't get home until 9:30 last night!  But the partying wasn't over.  I had bought a package of poppers for the boys to share and we couldn't let the occasion go without a chocolate fudge cake complete with candles.

2012 wasn't an easy year but it was a good one.  I'm looking forward to 2013 and all that it has to bring!  Happy New Year!
