We've Been Away + Happy Birthday, C!

There are certain fall days that I remember just because of the sheer beauty of the day.  Over the long weekend we were blessed with 3 unbelievable days of sunshine, mild temperatures and crisp air in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

We planned this trip months ago, an ideal combination of modern architecture and amenities for me and the great outdoors for C and the boys.  Luminhaus is a modern prefab home built on a fantastic piece of property off a private road in the mountains.  Here are some photos of the outside of the home.  And I promise to follow up with more photos.  Luminhaus cemented for me the way I want to live. 

Oh yes, and today is C's birthday.  We're having cake tonight and more celebrating this coming weekend.
