A few weekends ago we purchased all weather boots for BB and DD. Once a week, BB takes a class called Adventures in the Woods after school. The teacher takes the class on a long nature hike, oftentimes through Rock Creek Park, and good boots are needed. We brought their brand new boots with us to the mountains thinking the property may be muddy in parts. But it wasn't. What it did have was a good-sized creek at the end of the private road with a bridge going over. C took the boys in the cold water for an afternoon of fun.
