Books While Traveling

While traveling, our family tradition is to visit the local bookstores and buy new titles to add to our collection.  I used to pack a week's worth of bedtime books for our trips, but now we use travel as an opportunity to browse and buy.

I think I've mentioned that no independent bookstore is dearer to us than the Island Bookstore in Corolla Village.  We always find the best childrens' books and often fun finds for me as well.  During our trip to Bethany a few weeks ago, we went to the bookstore "downtown" as well as Browseabout Books in Rehoboth.  Both are decent, not great.

Next year my plan is to check out the local Bethany library for some fun reads for the week.
