Lee Azalea Garden

Well, hello!  I've been absent from this space but didn't mean to be.  I haven't picked up my camera much lately so there hasn't been anything to show you.  Just haven't been feeling inspired.  I did take some photos during our weekend visit to the National Arboretum Lee Azalea Garden.  The azaleas are in bloom and the Arboretum was mobbed.  But again as is the case with the outdoors, it never feels too crowded.

It's the first day of May which means the school year is almost over!  I love Summer but always wish that Spring would last just a bit longer than it does.  Summer brings such an abrupt change to our schedules that it always causes me stress for a few weeks before I settle in.  My boys are such a force of nature, moving forward, always moving forward, changing and growing even when I want to stand still.
