Yesterday was DD's birthday. My youngest is now 5. There was a lot we had to do this weekend, but we also made time to buy him a few small gifts and let him pick out a few of his own. At home we had a small cake and let him open his presents. While he was in the shower, I sneaked into his room and decorated it. There will be more celebrations to come - a small party at school today, a family party during the week, and then a big part with friends in the coming weeks.
To say that we love this boy is an understatement. We absolutely adore him. Happy 5th Birthday, DD. You'll always be a sweet baby to me.
