The Outer Banks

We've been away.  The ocean called to us as it does every year this time.  After the long drive, we always say hello to the house and then take the walkway straight to the beach.  On our first day, we also drove to the Village to take in the Sound.  While on the boardwalk we say a nutria and water snakes.  Then a drive to Duck to visit our favorite candy store but it was closed.

It was so good to be gone from some of the things going on in our day to day lives right now.  And to be near the ocean.  More photos to come this week of our time at the Outer Banks.  Oh, and Happy Mother's Day.
