Weekending

Have you noticed that my posts mostly are about our life on the weekends?  That's because this is a visually-driven blog about our lives, and I just don't have the time (or the light) to take photos on most weekdays.  That's one reason.  The other reason is, of course, we do most of our living on the weekends.  Weekdays are a tightly choreographed routine of school drop offs, coordinated pickups, meetings, nanny scheduling, and usually an unexpected event (good or bad) sprinkled in.

This is not to say we're not living happily during the weekday, of course.  We take walks, have homemade dinners together, watch movies, play games, read books, and even have outings.  Much of it is just undocumented.  With summer fast approaching, and ever later sunsets, photographing our midweek adventures will be more doable.  The longer days will also mean that I'll want to get out more.  So look for it.
