Bucolic Saturday

Just outside D.C. near National Harbor sits a historic farm (now a model, not a working farm).  On hot days we like to escape the city in the mornings and see what we can see outdoors.  Oxon Hill Farm, part of Oxon Cove Park, is a great place to come and stretch your legs.  The boys ran one farm building to the next, visited with the animals, and enjoyed the shade under a large tree.

I tried to imagine what it would be like to live on a working farm of this size and how I would get all the chores done.  It's definitely the city life for me.
